- Throw Mama From the Train (self explanatory)
- Sophie's Choice (most painful choice ever + holocaust = what's not to love)
- A Cry in the Dark (dingo infanticide)
- Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (I would be remiss if I didn't endorse this as an amazing film)
- Bambi (I don't want to talk about it. It's too upsetting)
- Knocked Up (could be awkward for the accidents out there. Also it's overrated and politically a cop-out)
- Requiem for a Dream (The mother who could pill pop you under the table)
- Maternal Instincts (best post-hysterectomy repetitive pencil tip breaking scene ever)
- Spanking the Monkey (the oldest taboo updated by David O. Russell)
